Token Economy is a positive behavior reward system. It is used to reward students for appropriate behavior and work/ task completion. For an effective token economy system, it is important that the student picks their reinforcer, and is motivated by what they are working for. Their reinforcer can change throughout the day, so getting their input frequently is key to a successful token economy system.

This product was created as a digital version of my printable First / Then boards. These boards serve as a visual reminder for students of the expectations. The “first” is the work task, or specific task that needs to be completed first. The “then” is the preferred activity(reward), or second required task. This helps students with language and behavior needs know exactly what is expected of them. The boards are created in Google Slides™ to make the first / then task cards digital and moveable. Simply copy and paste the cards onto the board you select. First / then tasks change throughout the day as needed.
