The holidays are approaching quick and we are all getting into the spirit. I wanted to create something that you could use for your special education or struggling students during the holiday season. This product is differentiated based on skills and levels. There is something for EVERYONE in the product. I based the products on my students IEP goals in math, reading and writing.

The holidays are approaching quick and we are all getting into the spirit. I wanted to create something that you could use for your special education or struggling students during the holiday season. This product is differentiated based on skills and levels. There is something for EVERYONE in the product. I based the products on my students IEP goals in math, reading and writing.

Reading: 6 Activities

There are two readers in this product: The Night Before Christmas and Little Elves. These two books are meant to either be read to a student that is either a non-reader or struggles. Or can be read independently to a more higher level student. They students can then color the fun holiday pictures associated with the text.

Holiday Sound Spinners: Students need a pencil and paper clip. The student places the paperclip in the middle of the spinner and puts the pencil in the middle of the paperclip then spins the paper clip. They then say the sound aloud that they land on. Repeat until all sounds are said.

Holiday Sight Word Spinners: Students need a pencil and paper clip. The student places the paperclip in the middle of the spinner and puts the pencil in the middle of the paperclip then spins the paper clip. They then read the sight word aloud that they land on. There are three different sight word spinner sheets and one blank one if you care to print and write specific words.

Math: 9 Activities

Reindeer Roll: Student rolls and dice, then colors the number part of the reindeer they land on.

Holiday Count and Write: Students count the holiday objects. Then write the number next to the objects.

Holiday Numbers: Student writes numbers 1-100 in fun holiday colors on the holiday 100’s chart.

Ornament Addition and Subtraction Facts: Student solves the addition and subtraction facts using manipulatives.

Holiday Addition Roll: Students use a dice to roll addition number sentences and solve.

Holiday Subtraction Roll: Students roll a dice and subtract the roll from 10 to find the difference.

Holiday Word Problems: Student reads the addition and subtraction holiday word problems then solves.

Writing: 3 Activities

Letter to Santa: Students write a preferred letter to Santa editing for proper capitalization and punctuation.

My Christmas List: Students write the top 10 things they want for Christmas.

My Christmas Memory Story: Student thinks of a memory that have from a past Christmas. They then write a story that includes a beginning, middle and end.
